This year flu vaccination is being encouraged for children aged two and three on 1st September 2013. This is a nasal vaccine which involves a small amount of liquid being administered into each nostril and is painless. Contact the surgery to arrange an appointment.

Whooping Cough Vaccine-this is recommended to all pregnant ladies between 28 and 38 weeks pregnant to protect their unborn baby. If you are a Derrydown patient and havent yet had this please make an appointment with our nurse Practitioner. This is in addition to your flu vaccine.
