Practice Nurses
Anne Hardiman is available by appointment for general advice and routine nursing procedures, including dressings and removal of stitches. They also offer appointments for immunisations, travel vaccinations and management of diabetes, asthma, chronic bronchitis, blood pressure, ischaemic heart disease, oral contraceptive checks, and cervical smears and dietary advice.
Health Visitor
The Health Visitor is available to give advice on health care, especially child health, and health problems of the elderly. She is based at the Shepherd Spring Surgery and is contactable on 01264 353855
Midwife
The Midwife provides help and advice throughout pregnancy. Post natal checks of mother and baby are performed by the doctors when your baby is 6 weeks old. She holds a clinic every Thursday.
Podiatrist (Chiropodist)
We have a visiting Podiatrist the first Thursday of every month, but only for those eligible for free treatment (over 75 year olds and school children). However some people with chronic health problems e.g. Diabetic patients can be referred.

Dr Amanda Davis and Dr Jim Rose are qualified to provide the routine recommended checks.
Cervical Smears & Family Planning
These services are offered by both Doctors and the Practice Nurse.
Hearing Tests
Hearing tests can be performed by appointment.
Minor Operations & Cryotherapy
We are able to deal with most small lumps and other bumps that are causing problems and we also offer a Cryo therapy clinic for veruccas etc. This is only available for those referred by the doctors
NON NHS SERVICES
Please note that you may be charged a fee for certain non NHS examinations eg. Insurance reports, special medicals for gun licences etc.Charges are in accordance with British Medical Association recommendations
